Were the scientific experiments on human test subjects during WWII and the Holocaust justifiable by the knowledge gained?
This is the question John and I hope to answer through this project. We will be answering these three main objectives:
1) Assess the responses of the US and other nations to the violation of human rights that occurred during the Holocaust and other genocides.
2) Relate new wartime inventions to scientific and technological advancements in the civilian world.
3) Compare the varying perspectives of victims, survivors, bystanders, rescuers and perpetrators during the Holocaust.
Our primary sources will most likely be pictures, videos, interviews, and documents.
